Graphic Designer/Artworker Internship (Temporary/Full Time – Summer 2023)

A fantastic opportunity awaits three motivated undergraduates to develop their knowledge and experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud applications in a production environment (specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop). You will build on your existing experience of the software, developing real world knowledge, skills and understanding unobtainable outside of a commercial studio environment. These tools will help you in future studies and will stand you in good stead for employment in the graphic design, print and media industries.

The position is a full-time paid role running from late May to August (exact dates TBC), within our education division creating artwork for school diaries and exercise books, and involves producing processing client supplied content, generating new documents in Adobe InDesign as well as updating existing InDesign files. The team take great pride in delivering first rate service and market leading products, so we are looking for someone who can work diligently, to deadlines and pay attention to detail.

Training will take place prior to starting work on live jobs and support and guidance will be available throughout from experienced professionals to ensure that the benefits from the placement are mutual.

Pay: £10.18 per hour (£10.42 if over 23)

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (plus overtime as required)

Length of contract: 10 to 16 weeks as required
